Lindsey's Soccer Game

Anna and I went and watched one of Lindsey's soccer games with MeMe and Granddad.  Lindsey has been playing soccer since was really young and it's neat to see how much she's learned from the sport.  Maybe Anna will follow in her footsteps.
Or maybe Anna will just stick to the sidelines...
... enjoying her snack breaks...
...and lounging with Granddad!

Mmmmm... Cookies!

Anna and I decided to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch.  Considering I'm not much of a baker and she's a first timer, we were in for an interesting night.  She liked putting all the ingredients together in the bowl, however she didn't care too much for the loud mixer.  Her favorite part, of course, was eating the chocolate chips!  In the end, the cookies turned out edible so our baking mission was a success!

Anna and I LOVE butter and we had a lot of fun playing with our butter sticks!

Hmmm... what should we bake next?

Dance! Dance! Dance!

Anna's daycare offers a weekly tap dance class for the girls so we signed Anna up.  We bought her a few little leotards and tights and a cute little pair of black tap shoes.  She looks so cute all dressed up, and she is eating it up!  She LOVES her shoes!  She has shown us what she has learned in her class... she shakes her booty back and forth and says "Dance! Dance! Dance!"  I'm happy she's enjoying it and we look forward to her recital, which is the second weekend in June of 2011.  Mark your calendars!  :)
