Anna is obsessed with a certain Chipmunk song! It's Beyonce's "Single Ladies" sang by the Chipettes. She wants to hear it all the time. Here she is showing off her dance moves.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to the pumpkin patch again this year to pick out the Yarbrough Family Pumpkins. Anna loved playing with the animals and picking out her own pumpkin, but most of all she enjoyed the hayride! In fact, she pitched a royal fit when it was over and she refused to get off! (Embarrassing parenting moment #247) Either way, we all had a great time and made some great memories.
Making her way through the hay maze.
What's he doing?
Anna found a pumpkin just her size.
Searching for pumpkins...
"Look Daddy, I found one!"
"Yay!!!"
"I'll get it! ugggghhhhh!" (grunt, poot)
"Hmmmm, maybe you should get it Daddy."
Time for a hayride.
"Why did the ride stop? Where is everybody going?"
"I'm not getting off!"
"You'll have to come get me!"
...and we did.
Report Card
Kevin and I met with Anna's teachers to get an update on her progress in school and to learn more about what she's learning and doing when she's away from us. Needless to say, Anna is doing amazing! She got a perfect report. They tested in her in certain social and emotional skills, motor skills, listening and speaking skills, self-reliance skills, and music and arts skills. The teacher said she's excelling in every category. She is always very involved with class activities and follows directions very well; she gets along great with the other kids and plays well with others; she's very good at coloring, using scissors and glue and she LOVES puzzles! She knows all of her colors, shapes and body parts; she's very advanced on her vocabulary and she is very independent. She is now fully potty trained, finally! She's liking her dance class, even though I think she'd like it better if they didn't have 20 girls crammed into one tiny room. All in all, she's doing great, but we all knew that. She's our little genius!
Funny story her teacher told us... apparently Anna has several male suitors! Ten in fact!!! There are 10 little boys who fight for her attention constantly. They said the boys will follow her everywhere she goes, and they always want to hug her. In fact, the teacher had to move her because the two boys she sat between at the table were always disturbing her to get her attention and it became too much of a distraction. Kevin was a little uneasy hearing this but was relieved when the teacher said Anna pays the boys no attention whatsoever! Her words were "Anna could care less about those boys!" That's my girl!

Glamour Shots
Anna's school had picture day where they dressed up all the kids and had them pose. As silly as it is, I thought they turned out pretty cute. I only bought a few proofs and just took pictures with my phone of the rest. (The packages they offered were a little steep for my budget!) Anyway, thought I'd share with everyone and show you how sweet she looks.
I cracked up when I saw the pictures of her in the hat and boa. Hilarious!

Introducing Connor James
On September 27, 2010, my sister Rachel and her husband Greg welcomed little Connor James into the world. He weighed in at 8lbs 6 oz, 20 1/2 ins long. Anna and I went to visit and meet the little man this past weekend. What a cutie pie! I can't wait to see him again... hopefully soon.
