Look Who's Walking
It seems like overnight, Anna has become an official walker. For the past month she's been taking a few steps here and there but last night she decided it was time to put those legs to use. We were at some friends house and Anna was walking everywhere. What a show off! I love it! I am so incredibly proud of her and she amazes me everyday! I LOVE YOU BANANAS!

Hey Uncle Greg... like my shirt!!!
Here's some 15 month stats for you:
1. WALKING!!! :)
2. She talks a lot! She loves to babble and chatter about everything. No major words yet, at least none that I can make out.
3. She gives kisses.
4. She loves to eat and has gotten pretty good at feeding herself with a spoon. Her favorite things to eat are chicken nuggets, ravioli, cheese and yogurt. And of course fruit!
5. She moved up into a new daycare class. I think the kids in this new class have encouraged Anna to walk more... those kids would run all over her if she didn't try to keep up!
I know there's a lot more that she's doing but if I went on and on, this would be the world's longest blog post! We go to the doctor for her 15 month checkup this week so I'll keep you posted on her weight!

FYI...
Anna walked across the living room all by herself yesterday. Yay!!! Her longest journey to date!
For the record, she walked across the room without the help of this walker, but it was the only pic I had of her. :)

Wye Mountain
Kevin, Anna and I made a trip up to Wye Mountain a few weeks ago with the Horras family and we got a few pics. Paige is a photographer and she was nice enough to take a few pics of us and I think they turned out so cute. Thanks Paige! I remember when my grandparents would take me to Wye Mountain when I was little and I always told myself I would bring my own children and carry on the tradition. I wanted to bring Anna last year but she was only 2 months old, so I was really excited that I was able to go this year. And excited that I was able to convince Kevin to go look at a bunch of flowers and have his picture taken in them. :)

A Day at the Dog Park
Recently our vet told us our dog Abby was overweight and she needed more exercise. So Sunday we headed out to the dog park at Rebseman Park. Abby got to run and play with tons of other dogs and Anna got tons of slobbery dog kisses. They were both covered in dog slobber by the time we left, but it was all worth it. Abby got her exercise and Anna got to play with her favorite animal... "duuug".

Throwing A Fit
Anna's getting closer and closer to walking on her own. Tonight we tried to capture a few steps on video and we got this instead. PRINCESS!!!
Random Videos
We have tons of videos of Anna but I never take the time to post them. Here's a few recent ones for your viewing pleasure.
Lindsey came over the other night and the girls had a blast with this ball popper. The batteries are officially dead.
more videos to come....

Uh-Oh
Anna learned a new word today... "uh-oh". It's amazing how overnight she learns something new.
Poor Baby
Anna experienced her first ear infection this past weekend. We got a call from the daycare saying her eye was swollen and draining. We took her to the doctor and sure enough, it was an ear infection. Poor thing. She had a temp of 101 and her poor eye was almost swollen shut. The doctor put her on meds and said NO DAYCARE so she stayed at home with me on Friday. By Saturday, she was back to normal. Yea! I hate it when she's sick. It makes me sad. :(
