Christmas Day

What a fun filled day Christmas was this year.  We had Christmas lunch at our house this year with the Downey side of the family.  I couldn't have done it without the help of my sister Stacie!  Thanks Buggy for all your hard work. :)  After spending some time with the Downey family, we packed up and headed to Searcy to spend time with Kevin's family.  Although busy and at some times hectic, we had a great Christmas with everyone and we are very thankful to be surrounded by such great family and friends.

Turns out, Anna was a pretty good kid this year, so Santa brought her something extra special... a bounce house!  That's right, Santa set up that bounce house right in our living room for Anna to see!  And when she saw it, she LOVED it... once she woke up of course!
It was a little difficult to get her out of the bounce house to open her other gifts but we eventually succeeded.

And back to the bounce house... and this time we have company.  Stacie and her family came over early to help set up for lunch so the kids were definitely entertained for a while.
 More presents!
And now onto Searcy!
We succeeded in pulling off a nice family photo this year.  Go Yarbroughs!
Here's Anna putting on her Christmas ornaments.

More presents!
MeMe and Grandad got her this grocery shopping cart with a car on it.  They have these at Kroger and we always have to use it when I take Anna.  Now she has her own!  The first thing she did was run back to her room to grab a baby doll!

What a Christmas!  And it's not over yet.  We still have one more Christmas with my family in Fort Smith next weekend.  Anna is one lucky kid to have so many people that love her!  Thanks everybody for all that you've done for her.  It means the world to us.

Christmas Jammies!

Too cute not to share.  We thought she looked so cute in her new Christmas pajamas!  Thanks MeMe and Grandad!

Gingerbread House

What's Christmas without a gingerbread house so Anna and I made one just for Santa, hoping to butter him up and convince him that we've been good girls all year.  Ha!  Right!

The Horras-Yarbrough Tradition

Every year, we get together with our best friends, the Horas family, and go look at Christmas lights.  We've done it since I was pregnant with Anna and not only do the kids love it, but the parents kinda enjoy it too.  :)  We go to several different places in North LIttle Rock... Enchanted Forest, Burns Park, several neighborhoods, and the main attraction - "The Blow-up House!"  This house has hundreds of inflatable decorations!  It's so trashy you can't help but be amazed by the whole thing!  The owner of the house even dresses as Santa for a finishing touch.
