A Weekend with Grammy and Poppy

A few weeks ago, Anna spent the weekend with her Grammy and Poppy in Fort Smith.  This was her first full weekend with them and boy did they had an action packed weekend planned.  They drove to Tulsa to go to the zoo and the aquarium.  From all the stories that Anna told me and the stories Grammy and Poppy told me, I know they all had a great time.

Grammy shared her pictures with me so here's a few from the zoo.
Grammy told me that Anna loved having her picture made with this statue.  She made her take her picture doing several different poses!

Here's some pictures from their day at the Aquarium.

She even got to spend a little time with her cousin, Baby Connor.
As you can see from all the pictures, she had a GREAT time!  Thank you Grammy and Poppy for keeping her for the weekend and giving us a break.  I hope she didn't wear you out too much.  :)

Easter 2011

Easter was a little different this year.  Usually we get together with my sisters and their kids and we dye easter eggs and have a big easter egg hunt.  This year we all had so much going on that we just couldn't get together, plus there a few sick kids so we were stuck dying eggs on our own.  Which was fine because we had a great time... and that meant more eggs!

Another way Easter was a little different this year was Kevin had to work.  Since he had to work, I sent the Easter Bunny an email and asked him to come a day earlier so we could all be together as a family to see Anna get her basket.  Luckily the Easter Bunny was really nice and said it would be ok.  :)  So to continue our Easter tradition, we had to get our Easter basket ready for the Easter bunny.  Every year we put out Anna's Easter basket on the front porch and fill it with carrots, hoping to tempt the Easter Bunny so he will leave lots of treats and sweets.

Here's Anna getting her basket ready.

The Easter Bunny must have really liked his carrots because not only were they all gone but he left Anna a whole bunch of fun goodies.
She even got a big easter basket from her MeMe and Grandad, who we went to see on Easter Sunday.  (She's not spoiled at all!)

To continue our Easter celebration, we were invited to our friends neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt.  She got a ton of eggs... and a TON of candy!

Cheeeeeeeeeeeese!

School Picnic

It's been a month since I've put any updates about Anna on here so I thought I'd take some time to catch up.  This day was the day all the parents were invited to the school for a picnic.  Anna's school does this every year and Kevin and I really enjoy it.  And Anna enjoys it too!
