I recently got an email from an old friend from high school reminiscing about the days gone by (thanks MK) and I couldn't help but think of this picture. This picture was the trip the "Explorers" took to Six flags in 1994! To all of my fellow Warriors Class of '96, I hope all is well! Thanks for the memories!

7 Years and still going strong!
Kevin and I celebrated our seven year anniversary this past Sunday. I can't believe it's already been seven years! Friday night we took a stroll down memory lane and went to the restaurant of our very first date, The Italian Couple. If you've never been there, it's kind of a dump but the food is really good. Then we went to the Afterthought in Hillcrest and saw the Big John Miller Band. We had a really good time reminiscing and also talking about what marriage was going to be like when Baby Yarbrough came along. I feel good knowing that after all we've been through, especially these past few years, we still love each other like it was the first day we met and even after seven years, he still knows how to sweep me off my feet.

Oh my gosh... the baby moved!!!
It's official! Baby Yarbrough has decided to make his or her presence known. S/he gave me a little tap yesterday morning while I was laying in bed, I guess just to say "Good Morning Mommy!" At first I couldn't believe it and chalked it up to be gas, but after talking to my grandma and my sister, I later realized it wasn't gas... it was Baby Yarbrough! What a neat feeling. Everyday just gets better and better!
Happy Birthday Nanny!
Thanks for Visiting!
My father Terry and his wife Peggy and my sister Rachel came into town this weekend to visit. We had a BIG lunch at Mimi's and then went shopping. And thanks to them, I officially have baby clothes in my house. They bought me the cutest baby gowns, burp cloths and blanket. Of course, it's green so it can be used for either a boy or a girl. They also got me a baby name book with 50,000 names in it... that should help! Thanks for coming to visit you guys. It was great seeing you.

16 Week Checkup
Kevin and I went to the doctor this morning for our 16 week checkup and everything is looking good. I've gained one whole pound in three weeks! (I guess all that ice cream I've been eating hasn't stuck to my thighs yet!) We heard the baby's heartbeat, my favorite part of the visit. It was in the 130's and 140's and it sounded like train tracks. We go back on August 21st to find out if Baby Yarbrough is a he or a she. I can't wait!

Belly Update - 15 Weeks
Here's the latest pic of my belly. We took this last night. I'm 15 weeks and the pooch is only getting poochier! FYI, we go back to the doctor on August 2nd for our next checkup. I'm hoping we find out what we're having!!!!
80's Flashback!
My good friend Kellie just turned 30 and we had an 80's Style Birthday Bash for her this past weekend. You know how you think your parents can be so embarrassing and un-cool. Well poor Baby Yarbrough doesn't stand a chance. I'm sure this will be the first of many embarrassing moments we will cause.

Gotta love the 80's dance!

Day Care
Last week, Kevin and I toured a few day cares. Sure, we've got plenty of time to decide where we're going to keep our little tot while mommy and daddy bring home the bacon, but we wanted to get a jump start. The first one we visited we really liked. Very clean, friendly staff, lots of little friends for Baby Yarbrough. The second day care was AWFUL! Dirty facility, unsupervised children, just gross all around. Anyway, it just got me thinking. Picking a day care is going to be tough, not to mention expensive! So if anyone has any suggestions on a good day care in Little Rock, let me know. We need all the help we can get.

Goodbye 1st Trimester!!!
We're happy to say that we made it out of our first trimester! With only a few bumps along the way, we finally made it and we couldn't be happier. Today we had our first appointment with our new doctor, Dr. Clint Hutchinson and we absolutely love him! He was very thorough and took interest in everything we have gone through. It's nice to go to a doctor who actually cares. We didn't do an ultrasound today but we did listen to the babys heartbeat. It was 150. Dr. Hutchinson also told me I could resume semi-normal activity and stop taking my progesterone shots! Woo-hoo! NO MORE SHOTS!!! I guess I'll have to find other ways for Kevin to kiss my butt every morning. :) And the best part is my new doc is a big Razorback fan - what more could we ask for! We go back in three weeks so we'll keep you posted!

Ladies and Gentlemen... THE QUEEN!
Kevin had the distinct honor of escorting his Grannie at her nursing home beauty pagent. She, of course, is the crowd favorite and won!!! She got a crown and sash and is now on her way to District, then hopefully State. In her interview, she was asked who she admired most and why. She said Billy Graham and her mother, both because of their strong faith. In my opinion, Grannie is at the top of my list.
